Absolutely phenomenal holiday tea we had here. The atmosphere is warm and comfy, they also don't rush you during your meal or tea time. Extensive menu of teas as well as beautiful main dishes or snacks. We got a tea and then ordered some beef stew (incredible), pelmeni, and piroshkis with some bread and butter. It was nice you could order dishes on the side of the tea treats so if you're really hungry, you can enjoy tea and a meal. Everything tasted homemade and fresh, the waitress was very friendly and our food came out fast. The milk oolong tea was some of the best tea I've had. We usually do fancy hotels for our holiday tea once a year, think we'll come back here instead - and maybe for tea year round!

What a fun spot in Chicago. We ordered the tea service and it was perfect. Light, refreshing with plenty of options for all. It was the perfect lunch spot that was nice and light. Beautiful throughout and right in the heart of downtown. Next time I visit Chicago, I'll still come back here. Ochen Xorosho!

This was such a fun experience. Service: Staff was were very friendly and attentive. They also gave us some good insight in what might be the best tea for us to get based on our preferences. Our server also helped us decide what type of veggies sandwiches we wanted with our tea service. Price: The prices were very reasonable especially considering the amount of food we get. Food: The food looked delicious. The scones were the the right about of soft and the cream that went with it was so yummy. Their sandwiches were also really good and much bigger than typical tea time sandwiches. The bottom tray of desserts also had a nice variety. Atmosphere: They have a very red Russian themed room and it's really fun to dine in a themed spot. The restaurant is very close to the Art Institute museum so it's a great place to come to after all the walking around.
